it was shocking and everything dumbfounded on the encore telecast of the first awaited episode of
Villa Wellness.
the show was lead and hosted by Desiree (Cassie from Heartlanders) and she was everything the 12 contestants wish they were in (obviously they would not pick an oversized host, right? the show's main point is to promote a healthy lifestyle. though i do not understand what watching tv and surfing the internet or using the handphone affects their weight... but we'll get to that later).
so everyone was set out to a resort chalet, a place were nature is plentiful and a conducive environment is in their face for a 10 week slimming session.
though some may get eliminated along the way.
but do
not fear, they are well started on a detox programme for 3 days straight, kindly sponsored by Expressions.
well, i may say, but not
too well.
a contestant, namely Anju, has been rejecting (her body is) the pills that everyone was popping and fell for a death trap the moment everyone set out for a mini tour of calories no-no with their friendly and helpful nutritionist.
even since that day, she has been throwing out almost everywhere she goes, causing her to moan and groan about missing her son.
seriously, if you were there, it's an instant torture. mostly all technology is cut off and no means of calls are supposed to be made out.
it's like living in concentration camp or something.
just worse.
Prequel before the Detox Progamme started
anyway, everything was turned around when breakfast was served up the following day. and it was piping hot and delicious one may say (or the stomach).
hmm, but something fishy was happening. the sumptuous dinner (real fat
killer encourage-er) they had yesterday was simply following up to the next day! impossible. they are here for a slimming session,
not a increasing your body fat to the limits.
but taadaa, host Desiree appears yet again with an amazing surprise.
no breakfast ladies, everything you see on the table, in the bin.
what?!
hello??? 12 people with an aim to lose weight, not waste food. this is not what you call sacrificing your needs, it called sacrificing the
ecosystem.
do you all have any idea how many starving children you are able to feed with all those food?
and you are banishing it in the trash?!
this is not girl bravery, this is simply not making sense.
what is this?
models do not dump food away in order to refrain themselves from indulging themselves!
you are simply teaching the public the very wrong stuff, and you really need to change.
and ahem, if you people think that dumping away food and seeing them swimming around helplessly in the trash fun, think twice.
you may just be the one starving next time.
so the moral of the story is, think twice before airing shows like this. the act of dumping food away is simply outrageous, and i cannot stand to see food being wasted in this manner.
people work to put food on that table for christ's sake!
exclaimation marks, dear producers, signifies how much hatred i have in store for you, and this is not going to end yet, if you continue carrying out foolish stuff.
ugh, you producers are irkingly unbelievable.
it's true.
P.S. i do not blame the contestants for throwing away the food, you all are simply forced. i understand.
