wanzhen, do not murder me when you hear this: i am
so hooked on Pussycat Dolls' Don't Cha.
Oh well, some songs just remain fresh in your memory for eons.
Anyway, went window shopping in Takashimaya yesterday (considering that it is 12midnight now). People, if you want cold, hard evidence as to why i am only window shopping, and not really, seriously shopping for purchasing reasons, dig this:
Takashimaya has posh shops which are only meant for credit crankers hardcore shoppers, or as to say, loaded crowds.
So girls like me can just look at
other girls having fun, and not being able to experience it.
Oh jeez, i swore that those Dior handbags i saw through the window was fab-ly crafted and designed to perfection. Chic, as you may say.
Hah. So you people are wondering what a girl like me would shop in Takashimaya for absolutely no rational reason at all?
No, you got it wrong if you think that i am in for the free sampling of mooncakes.
I am not food-minded you know.
I was there to support and experience being in a culture like no other.
Hehe.
It's a 50th celebration for the Singapore Association for the Deaf. They had 5566 to come over (which was from my point of view, big deal) and sing and promote their new album, hao jiu bu jian [Long Time No See; if translated directly from english].
Screaming fans all around me. Ugh. I just cannot bear to withstand such behaviour.
By the way, just to inform those 5566 fans that did not get to catch their performance, they did a little dance and signed the whole song in Sign Language (taiwanese style). They did a fantastic hi-kick, but sadly, only 3 of them could make it as the other fourth one was having a filming deal going on back in their hometown.
All of them were wearing either yellow or white (i did not notice much about their dressing because i was more concerned about how they entered the scene without being chased by screaming fans half of the time).
Coming to think of it, how did you guys get to find out about their performance in Ngee Ann City?
*shrugs*
All in all, to wrap the whole event up, the food was appealing and good (better than some i have been to, where the food seems so mass-produced; forgotten which one).
Ate chicken rice, a slice of pizza [cheezy crunch] and a quart cup of cuppacino (pardon my spelling).
Anyway, my main point was to check my mum out (she was volunteering for the games store there) and discreetly getting her gifts while she is oblivious of it.
After all, we got for her a tote bag which costed a total of 4 digit numbers, a stuffed animal (which costed yet another 4 digit numbers) and a gift tag (not to worry, this only costed a 1 digit number).
All in the name for, Happy Birthday!
Personal sneeb-zle poodle.
(fyi, this does not mean anything. i am just annoying the heck outta you.)
