another fab day, in Singapore Town. (the place where i was born and bred, yeah, you got it right.)
just as it's only in
a part of Singapore Town, somewhere along the road of Kim Seng Road, namely,
Zouk.
hah! you must be wrecking your brains on how i could get through the Bouncer situated at the front gate and snug my way thru to the club itself.
heh heh heh.
you'll never get it straight.
but, of course, i would not leave you in the dark. instead, people, listen up:
they are hosting their Annual (kind of monthly. i heard it was on every 4 months.) Flea market.
so duh, if you think along the lines, it's a fully family day outing, and not a barrier for kiddies like me. (sorry if you feel offended by my term 'kiddies', but you have
got to admit that we people of below 18 are definitely falling under an underage group - except those that look real mature for their age, you go mature people ;) )
anyway, back to the flea market topic, if you, the audience or fellow readers of my blog, are doubtful of the term 'flea market', it's a place where you can get 2nd hand items.
not a place, i repeat,
not a place which sells nothing but different breeeds of fleas.
just so as you know.
unless if there's such a place, please do refer me to it. ;)
ok, so we are still back at the flea market topic (if you do feel lost at this post, tag me. i can be a real bubble head while blogging at times. XD ), and this
flea market does have a real of a deal.
if you get what i am getting to. =P
so, smart shoppers, get your bags and savings ready, cause you are going to have a ball of a time finding great bargains at every sharp corner (it really depends which direction you are heading though).
be ready to burn a slight hole in your pocket and put up with the pungent cigarette smoke. it may be a little unbearable, but believe me, get
over it and
concentrate on shop-hopping!!!
it even better than paradise over there. especially for youths, listen up and listen well. if you are those brand-conscious and tight shoestrings budget type, this
is the place for you.
Zara, Roxy, Mango, Adidas, Disney, Nike, Quiksilver, Op, Billabong...
you name it, they have it. (if you are patient enough to spend a whole afternoon to do so - shop around i mean.)
but be warned, this year's flea market has said to come to an end, and the next
predicted and
expected one is to come up next year.
do not falter, 2nd hand goods awaits you. and if you are fated enough, you may just get to see that long-awaited top you have always been eyeing at that boutique downtown.
