now, don't you get my point?
what is up with the movies these days? the genre which seems to take over center-stage is practically flooding the market with its movies.
why do i say so? horror flicks. are they the evergreen movies that everyone like? no. so why brainwash us with the idea that our life is creepy and filled with man-eating zombies?
and did i mention the zombie films from last year to this year? what is up with those zombies? whenever i see these films, all i want to do sit there and take a long stare at the posters. i mean, the main reason to create these films is for the scare factor. but if these similiar films are on the rise, how can we be taunted by the idea of zombies, when we already know how the storyline is going to be?
even i can narrate the whole show to you with my eyes closed. Land Of The Dead? bad idea. having zombies carrying weapons isn't going to change the fact that it's different from other zombie flicks. honestly, they are just another bunch of creepy figures that has manifested the entire town - which is real deserted, because almost everyone has been turned into man-eating zombies - and have nothing better to do than to go around gnawing people's head off or scaring people whenever they make a sharp turn.
even naming zombie flick seems like a breeze these days. Resident Evil, 28 Days Later, Dawn Of The Dead, and now Land Of The Dead. i guess George A. Romero is just trying to create sequels after sequels of zombies that went depressed because they got unemployed then later went berserk and started chasing after their bosses or something.
not that it's an offence creating such a storyline, but don't you think these films are too closely packed together that it causes one to get sick of such films?
i suggest, draft up a better, fresher script before requesting for a crew to cast in the show next time.
after all, who can tell the difference whether the zombies used in this film has been recycled from the previous one?
hope you consider it.Thank you!
